The delivery method I chose would be vaginal birth with medication. One of the main pros to using medication during a vaginal delivery would be for pain relief, while the cons of the general delivery method could be the potential for a tear and the small risk of a drop in blood pressure that may affect the baby. I think one of the reasons many women would want to go with a vaginal birth in general, is because that is what we as women are meant to do. For some, they may opt to be completely natural in that they do not take medications to ease the pain and discomfort that come with pregnancy. Although, in my experience I have known many who opted for a natural pregnancy, only to change their mind and receive an epidural after experiencing some of the pain. There are no major risks to the health of the baby at this point, though there is always some form of risk associated, which could make it a con.
