You are a member of a union where you work and are very much involved in contract negotiations. The company wants to replace the arbitration clause in the old contract with a mediation clause in the new contract. In fact they are willing to raise the new annual salary by 2% for everyone if this change is made. Explain what the difference is between these two contract clauses. In your opinion, do you think that you should accept or reject this offer and give reasons to defend your position.
