Every form of media shapes the style of communication. Take a single recent news story and find it in two different types of media (internet blog, print newspaper, TV, radio- ONE of the two must be print based). Identify the story and its sources (use APA format). Then briefly describe the difference in the way the story is reported:
What fact were different? What opinions were different? What emotions were different?
Then in three to five paragraphs evaluate those differences. Are any of them due to intrinsic biases built into the medium? Could you get the same effect from other media? What changes would be necessary? How do you evaluate each media as a way of conveying news? Which do you trust more? Why?
Electric charge is uniformly distributed inside a nonconducting sphere of radius 0.30 m. find the maximum magnitude of the electric field
On a hot day, the temperature of a road surface may rise to over 50 degrees C. calculate the net radiation flux from the road to the air
Initially at a temperature of 89.0?C, 0.300m3 of air expands at a constant gauge pressure of 1.40×105Pa to a volume of 1.43m3, Compute the total work done by the air
What is wave speed
In the sun, suppose the value of E (energy production per second per gram) drops to 1% of its central value at r/R = .02, which can be taken as the outer boundary of the solar core. Assume E==pT^4 where p is density and T is temperature. You have thi..

Suppose now that you are at rest relative to the raft standing at the rear end except this time the raft is in the middle of the lake moving at a speed of 4.0 m/s. find the raft's speed relative to a stationary observer
At a distance of 7.0 km from a radio transmitter, the amplitude of the radiated electric field of the radio transmissions is measured to be 0.20 volts/meter. what is the total power emitted by the radio station
sample of an ideal gas is taken through the cyclic process abca at point a, T = 385 K. How many moles of gas are in the sample, What is the net energy added to the gas during the cycle
A steel cable with total length 20 m and mass 100 kg is connected to two poles. The tension in the cable is 2,000 N, and the wind makes the cable vibrate with a frequency of 2 Hz. compute the wavelength of the resulting wave on the cable.
suppose a particle with a positive charge were to move a certain distance say 0.1 meters in a uniform electric field.
