The objective of Verdant World News is to offer a one-stop-shop resource for media from around the world as it pertains to the environment, energy, climate, and general well-being and future of the earth. We monitor environmental news daily and trust that compiling environmental news articles will help ease access and familiarity with environmental issues. Awareness and understanding of global environmental issues help encourage intelligent and open-minded discussion about the impacts on the world and progress as it happens. We are committed to promoting the ethics of environmental responsibility and conservation efforts. Limited natural resources and the health of the planet affect everyone, and we hope to provide our readers with knowledge and awareness of what is happening globally – good, bad, and indifferent.

Because of our geographic locations, we are mostly concerned with “verdant” news in Virginia and California, but do expand our media monitoring into national and global issues as well. Posts will be added on a weekly basis
