I am interesting in seeing the equations to find the strengths of a aluminium 6061 tube at 36in x 3in x 3in with 1/4in wall. This is more of a review for me. Would like to see the equations at work. For an example, say I am building a device that requires 36in x 3in x3in x 1 /4in wall aluminium 6061 tube and I need to know if it can withstand a 150lbf load on one end while the other is fixed to the ground. I need to display all the equations to proof that this will work.
