You are baby-sitting little Nicole who plays with a toy of mass m= 0.20 kg that hangs at the end of a vertical spring of constant k = 9.8 N/m. Nicole pulls the toy 15 cm below the equilibrium position and lets go of it. The system oscillates freely in what can be assumed to be a simple harmonic motion.

Write the energy stored in the spring, the kinetic energy of the toy and the mechanical energy of the system as functions of time.
