Discussion requirement:
Are you nervous when you think of giving a speech? Or does it thrill you? Take the PRCA (Per-sonal Report of Communication Apprehension). This is a tool that will measure your level of anxiety about giving speeches, talking in meetings, speaking in small groups, and communicating one on one (interpersonally).
In Chapter One of your text book, the author discusses some ways you can overcome nervous-ness about giving speeches. Create an original thread and share your scores and what you learned from taking the PRCA and share your two favorite suggestions for dealing with nervousness from the text. Be sure to comment on at least 2 classmates' posts as well. Remember to lift each other up and encourage each other.
