1. Classical Conditioning is a learning theory centered on creating associations between meaningful objects or ideas to elicit desired responses. An example of this is Ivan Pavlov example of a dog, food and a bell. training the dog with the bell, as the ringing means food.
Operant Conditioning is that the stimulus follows the response. An example of this is by giving consumers money back after buying a particular product.
I believe operant conditioning is the best for persuade consumers to make purchases of certain products or services because of under operant conditioning you are using a stimulus to get a response, and this is how consumers react, they react by a stimulus when buying products.
2. What I think low involvement products are, are eggs, milk, bread, the staple products, more involvement would be products such us washer and dryers. I think depending on the trip I buy differently, low or high. Depending on the trip I'm either an impulsive buyer with my grocery's or a conscious list going in. Just depends on which way I go in, I'm impulsive if I don't have a list, because I think I need everything. With my list I know what I need and don't need and pretty much stick to the list and don't buy everything.
