The emergency room at Medical Center wants to test if time of day time effects waiting time for patients.

The following data was collected:

Daytime: 31,29,30,22,29,19,32,25,30,26

Nighttime: 23,24,27,27,26,26,31,29,23,23,27,22

Assume the population standard deviations are not the same and degrees of freedom is 14.

Answer the following questions at the 0.05 level of significance.

a. What is the mean and standard deviation of the daytime waiting times? and what is the mean and standard deviation of the nighttime waiting times?
