The Sydney Opera House is Australia's landmark and one of the most popular visitor attractions. It is one of the twentieth century's most distinctive buildings and was included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 2007.

For this assessment, you are required to write a report (3,000 words) outlining the following aspects of the design and construction of this iconic facility:

1. Introduction
2. Literature review comprising:
i. Project's original objectives and scope
ii. Selection process of the project management and design team
iii. Project funding / financing, budget, and completion cost
iv. Different stages of the design and construction process and project completion
v. Changes occurred within the original design and the selected project team
3. Analyse the adopted project management structure and its suitability for the project
4. Determine how the client and project design and management team ensured that:
i. Appropriate design input parameters were determined and transposed into the construction process
ii. The technical specifications were fit for purpose
iii. The architectural and structural design were fit for purpose
iv. Any scope creep was avoided or minimised
v. The project was completed within the budgeted cost and allocated timeline

5. Findings, conclusion and recommendations containing:
i. Findings and conclusions elaborating the success, failures, innovations, challenges and lessons learned from this project
ii. Opinions and recommendations for improvement in the design and constructon of similar projects in future
