Time to think about applying course learning objectives in the context of a real case study. More information is included in this week's assignments but begin to study web available materials on McDonald's. There are many sources including company news announcements, free financial industry opinions/studies, and critiques. IMO, it's best to start with a thorough reading of their most recent Annual Report to focus on their strategies, accomplishments, new approaches/technologies, products, and their plans for creating more customer value.
Think about their stakeholder base which includes customers, vendors, employees, regulators, and investors (to name a few). How do they go about creating value? Don't limit yourself to your own MCD experiences; dig deeper! For example, MCD has specific strategies for creating value for their shareholders...some really comprehensive and impactful strategies that are quite specific.
Be an investigator. Where do they create value? how? for whom?
IBe attentive to high quality presentation standards and showing key references. Avoid incomplete sentences, misspellings, and slang.
