Problem: A uniform rod length with a length of 2 meters and a mass of 12 kg is hung from a pivot at one end. A particle with mass 2.3 kg is thrown at the rod and sticks to it at a point 0.8L below the pivot. At what speed must the particle be thrown so that the maximum angle between the rod and the vertical is 90 degrees?
