  • What generation do you claim membership to and why? (Cite your sources to support your statement)
  • Give an example of a positive interaction and a negative interaction that you have experienced with a member of another generation.
  • Describe a stereotype that you have about another generation and then present evidence to challenge this stereotype (may require additional research). Remember that stereotypes can be positive or negative and everybody has them. (Cite sources)
  • How many generations are there in your extended family? How do you interact differently with family members in different generations, and how are you similar?
  • What are specific skills that you need to acquire to be competent in a multigenerational workplace as an employee or a manager? You could potentially be working with five generations at once. A successful person will be able to more with different cohorts and adapt to their styles.
