The population of a small town is 19,280 and growing at 4% annually. The local paper wants to predict the population 10 years from now. They will assume the rate of growth stays the same and they know that population can be modeled using the same formula as compound interest. They are free to choose a compounding frequency. They choose the one that will maximize the predicted population. What is the predicted population?
