A harmonic wave travels along an ideal rope from left to right. At the position we’ve marked as zero meters, we observe the rope reaching a maximum displacement of 15 cm every 2 seconds. We also notice that the distance between neighboring maxima at any time is 6 meters. Finally, we define t = 0 at an instant where the rope at the zero meter mark reaches its maximum displacement. Write a mathematical equation that fully describes this traveling wave.
