Final project limit the use of "ly" words such as notably
1. Address a typical "Leadership Dilemma" utilizing content from the textbook, articles, videos, journals, self-assessments, blogs, websites and other resource material.
2. Based on theories, concepts, and models utilized throughout the course
3. The project will be 10 pages in length, using APA 6th Edition guidelines.
4. Analyze content, apply the material to answer a typical Leadership Dilemma (Reorganization/Restructure).
5. Have two options to consider, but will select only one.
Option 1: From a personal perspective, critically analyze and evaluate a restructuring that occurred in your organization, or an organization of your choice; OR,
Option 2: From the perspective of a Chief Operating Officer, critically analyze and evaluate your strategy to restructure your organization through a decrease in the workforce.
Consider:
•How do you determine which employees/departments/teams to terminate?
•How do you motivate the workforce during this situation?
How do you motivate the remaining workforce?
•If you are analyzing a restructuring-what worked well, what needs improvement, and why
•What changes would you make and explain why-give examples
•Support your position with appropriate content from course (models, theories, concepts).
Your textbook provides a variety of applicable content including: change, vision, building community in the workplace, ethics, performance management, organizational alignment, empowerment, etc.
