One important recent consumer trends is that people spend more and more money on their pets (dogs, cats, etc.). A sector study of the American Pet Products Association shows that American dog owners spend about $1380 on their dog each year. Also in Europe and Asia, the market for pet related products and services is growing fast.

For the individual task Marketing you need to imagine that you are starting a new company that produces VEGAN DOG FOOD. So you want to take advantage of this consumer trend to create a market for your vegan dog food. The dog food does not contain any meat or animal derivatives (e.g fat, eggs, milk, etc.) and it does not contain any pesticides, genetically modified organisms (GMO), or other harmful ingredients for the consumers or the planet.

The goal of this task is to write - based on the questions below and on the slides from the course - a marketing plan for your new business. Imagine that you are really starting up this new company, that you are looking for an investor and that you have to convince this investor with this marketing plan.
