To comprehend how companies decide to penetrate and/or grow their market share in foreign countries; students will choose one company to research and evaluate that company's export strategy and marketing plan for foreign expansion.
The concluded research and evaluation made by the teams (or individual) will be documented in a report paper (word document) and Powerpoint file which will include the following sections:
1. Introduction: a list of each team members and their contribution to the project. A description as to why they choose this company (2 page min Powerpoint slides and 2 page min in Word document)
2. Company research: presentation of the research found on the export strategy and how it was implemented. This section is the core research on the company's strategy and their marketing plan. (4 page min Powerpoint slides and 4 page min Word doc)
3. Conclusions: a clear evaluation on behalf of the team members or individual on the pros and cons of the programs available or strategy used and well-reasoned proposed course of action. (3 page min in Powerpoint slides and 3 page min in Word doc)
