Marketing is a science of subjective and objective criteria. Science uses data and experiments to prove a result, which is the basis of a good marketer. Everything from culture, social factors and family distinctions is the information marketers gather to form a marketing strategy. It is a marketers goal and intention to market toward your wants and desires. The science of it is the subliminal messages consumers get to want what they didn't know they wanted.
