OUTLINE:Marketing and Communications Manager Students are to assume the role of of - Netball North East Coast.
Netball North East Coast is a sporting association based in a small town on the North East Coast and is responsible for the administration and development of Netball for the North East Coast.
The association employs the following staff:

mission is to grow Netball by supporting members and the Netball community through:

One of the organisation's key strategic goals is to improve participation in community Netball, specifically to increase the total number of players by 4% this year.
Another goal is to increase the participation of girls (5-18) by 2% this year.
These goals have been translated into an Operational Plan for the organisation.
You are the Marketing and Communications Manager. Your team includes the following staff:
- Marketing Officer
- Promotions Officer.
You are responsible for the following key result areas:
- Membership Growth
- Volunteer Development
- Programs and Events.

For this part of the task, you are required to Report outlining the following: (PART A)
Research the importance of having a strong performance management approach in place. Including:
- A description about the importance of a high-performing work team to an organisation.
- A description of the impact of poor performance on a team and organisation.
- Best practice in an organisationsupporting their staff (include statements about counselling and professional development opportunities).

Prepare a memo for your team - the Marketing Officer and the Promotions Officer and the Administration Manager:
In your memo you will need to do the following:
- Reviewtheinformation provided in the scenario above and theOperational Plan providedin Canvas.
- memo explaining the Operational plan and thetasks that they are to be responsible for, for the upcoming year.It is hoped there will be a common understanding of the year's goals and objectives and to ensure everyone understands what their role and responsibilities are.
