Question: Discovery, Inc is currently reviewing an opportunity to obtain a compound containing 20 mg of hydrocodone and 400 mg of acetaminophen that is currently in Phase II development for the treatment of moderate to moderately severe pain. This controlled release hydrocodone/acetaminophen will be the first extended-release opioid combination product to offer 12 hours of sustained pain relief with a single dose. Discovery management would like to determine if this new compound would address any unmet needs in the moderate to moderately severe pain marketplace.
