Right now Margaret does not have enough income to pay that $1000 per month so Margaret’s daughter, Emily is paying it every month. You are a good friend of Margaret and for her birthday you promised to pay the pharmacy the $1000 per month for the next year. You went to the pharmacy and told them to send the monthly bill to you. You have paid this for one month, but now you and Margaret have gotten into a major disagreement and you cancelled your deal with the pharmacy and said they have to send the bill to Margaret again. When the bill comes Margaret still cannot pay it, and Emily refuses to pay it. Emily now files a lawsuit against you to saying that you need to keep paying the bill to from the pharmacy. For this problem assume the agreement between you and the pharmacy is an enforceable contract. Will Emily win or not? Why?
