The company requires its candidates to have three years of management experience along with the JIT knowledge. The company will provide on-the-job training, but having experience with line installation and startup is valued.
The annual salary range for the production supervisor position is $45k to $78k. The human resources department determined that the average salary is $59,824 per year for employees with a Bachelor's degree, but the company will consider a higher compensation pay based on experience and skills. The production supervisor is considered as an exempt senior position and will not involve any overtime cost.
Salaries may differ among employees who share the same job classifications based on their skill and education level. If an employee holds a degree higher than an associate's or has a certification, the field may make more. The company will also look at the years of experience an employee has in the industry when hiring and making an offer. A person with ten years' experience will make more than a person who has no or little experience. Determining the circumstances, the company can provide sign-on bonuses to employees that range from $500 - $4000 based on the job position. If an employee is relocating from another location, the company will consider paying relocation fees, including house hunting, travel, and hotel expenses.
