This is an assignment which must be completed by students individually. On-campus students must review an article from the reading pack and then present the review in class via Powerpoint. Flex students must review an article from the reading pack and then prepare a narrated Powerpoint of their review for submission. The review should be a minimum of 1,000 words and no longer than 1,500 words. The Powerpoint presentation should be around 10 minutes in length. Students should be fully prepared to competently answer questions about the review from their lecturer and/or other students at the end of their presentation. The review should explain the article's:
•Objectives
•Theoretical base
•Conceptual underpinnings
•Arguments
•Methods
•Sources and credibility of evidence
•Place in the literature
•Soundness of its conclusion(s)
•Potential theoretical contribution
•Ability to be applied by managers You should conclude the review by summarising:
•Your key arguments
•Any implications for theory and/or management practice
•Your overall evaluation of the article's effectiveness and credibility You should have at least 10 references and no more than 30 references. You should reference the article you reviewed, any critical thinking or managerial decision-making books and/or articles you have read, and any other sources you drew upon to finalise your review. You are advised to read some of the articles cited in the article you reviewed to gain an appreciation of the article's place in the literature.
