calculate the capacitance of the capacitor and the inductance of the inductor. for the capacitor it's going to be 1/(j*2*pi*frequency*capacitance) and (j*2*pi*frequency*inductance) for the inductor but what are the valves for the capacitance and inductance. Here are the steps given to me. don't need to build it in Mulitsim, get the capaciatance and inductance values.
1.) Build a series RCL circuit in Multisim powered by a 10 volt RMS supply.
2.) Make the resistance of the resistor equal to 10 ohms.
3.) Make the magnitude of the impedance for each of the reactive components equal to the resistance at a frequency of 1 megahertz.
A circuit consists of a current source, i=0.030 sin 500t, in parallel with L=20mH, C=50 micro Farads and R=25 Ohms. a. Determine the voltage V across the circuit. b. Solve for the power factor of the circuit.
What is the resolution of an ADC with a word length of 12-bits and an analogue signal input range of 100 V A sensor produces a maximum analogue output of 5V. What word length is required for an ADC if there is to be a resolution of 10mV
An intergrated circuit temperature probe is rated at 0-10 volts dc over a 0-175 degrees Celsius range. What is the temperture when the output voltage is 3.65 volts dc
Analysis of discrete time waveforms in z domain, A discrete time domain signal x(n) - u(n) - u(n-10) is decomposed and plotted. It is then examined in the z domian by appropriate transformation and algebraic manipulation.
If you have a 30 VDC - 4A power supply and need to power two 24VDC - 0.8A MFC (mass flow controller), create a circuit that divide the voltage and can handle the power.
An electric heating element is connected to a 110 v circuit and a current of 3.2 A is flowing through the element. How much energy is used up during a period
How many volts must be applied to a 3- ohm resistor to result in a power dissipation of 752W 3) A 0.27-k ohm resistor is rated 2W. Compute the maximum voltage that can be applied and the maximum current that it can carry without exceeding it..
The voltage across the load must remain between 4.7 and 5.0 V for all values of load current. Come up with (draw) a voltage-divider network to supply the load. You may assume that resistors of any value desired are available.
Efficiency of MOSFET circuit provide in datasheets of any product is measured at transient state of my output node or staedy state?
A 23-kVA, 2300/230-V, 60-Hz, step-down transformer has the following resistance and leakage-reactance values: R1 = 4 ohm, R2 = 0.04 ohm, Xl = 12 ohm, and X2 = 0.12 ohm. The transformer is operating at 75% of its rated load.
A 10m diameter cylindrical tank is emptied by a constant outflow of 1 m3 /min. A two position controller is used to open and close a fill valve with an open flow of 3 m3 /min. For level control the neutral zone is 1m and the setpoint is 10m.
A liquid level system converts a 4-10 m level into a 4-20mA current. Design a three mode controller (PID im assuming) that outputs 0-5 volts with 50% PB, 0.03 min integration time, and 0.05 min derivative time.
