PT. AQUA Golden Mississppi was established in 1973 which produces the first bottled drinking water in Indonesia and has 14 factories in Indonesia. In 1998 the Company joined the DANONE Group which has 1,000,000 distribution points throughout Indonesia. The following describes the condition of the company: PT. AGM Has a strong marketing strategy, wide distribution, product diversification, sophisticated water resource management, Aqua packaging is increasingly diverse. Control of distribution supply at the main distributor, using the ozonation process and requires strong working capital, varied packaging designs. The company also faces challenges with the emergence of new competitors such as Le-Minarale, OASIS, Aquaria, Spring, VIT, AVI, OCEAN, ADES, Air Sosro, Snow and Moya etc. In addition, the company faces obstacles related to industrial waste treatment, clean water crisis, water filtering technology, community support around the industry and the emergence of water refill depot business as well as product distribution with third partners. The company also has prospects in marketing its products in ASEAN countries due to the high demand and need for mineral water.
