Problem

Dilemma Scenario: Mr. Fortune provides professional business coaching to Mr. Lee, who is a rising CEO of a small Mentoring business for at-risk teens. Mr. Fortune had been working with the CEO for two months on his leadership goals, ethics, and compassion when the CEO mentions his not-so-good day. During the closing of one of their sessions, he mentions he had a breakthrough on one of his goals, however, he mentions he was challenged by one of his mentees Meridith Gray who unethically provides the client's whole name and personal situation about her mom, Mrs. Gray who also received counseling from Mr. Fortune over ten years ago.

Coaches Resolution: Mr. Fortune has an ethical dilemma- caused by a breach of confidentiality. A client's privacy was exposed. Mr. Fortune immediately contacted a supervisor at ICF and later considers asking Mr. Lee if thought to make a change in his coach because of the ethics violation, despite the current breakthrough in his program. and support my findings.
