Expand on this: Source Gas had a major problem with their work order system. The system would process work orders and then send them via mobile devices to the field technicians. The orders were not prioritized and were not aligned with any particular need or or business objective. Another issue with their system was that it was so outdated that it could not be improved or updated any longer. The process of creating the work orders, and assigning them to technicians could not be automated, it had to be done manually. Source Gas needed a solution that could automate the work orders and prioritize them based on some urgency or business need metric and also assign the work order order to the correct field technician.
