Samantha was a high-profile female television sports reporter for major league baseball for a major television network. Devin believed she got the job based on her looks and resented the fact she had never played the game, so he felt she had no right to the job. He plotted to destroy her. First, Devin spied on Samantha through the peep hole of her hotel room, and found out she was having an extramarital affair with a high-profile baseball player she was covering.
