How do I respond to this? Here is the prompt- Which of the three major international relations theories-realism, liberalism, or constructivism-best explains the evolution of the international system? Why?

Realism best describes the evolution of the international relations. Since it is a thing which is present in our personal lives which effects us when we make international relations with others. While constructivism leans on the idea that changes cause relations to form and break between independent states, realism insists it is always a chase for more power and influence through different ideologies at different points in time. While liberalism argues for a more social way of thought, it has been proved that it is not the main effect in the evolution of international relations. We have seen this in the past and present, with the US involvement in the middle east after 9/11 to the British Monarchy's influence in independent states like Canada, New Zealand and Australia. These examples themselves debunk the theory of liberalism. Realism is the only effective theory which has shaped international relations today. For Example, In the middle ages The Christian West and the Islamic East were big rivals in the international atmosphere and we are told this because of the differences between them but in the end it was merely for more power and influence. Same thing with the Democracy of the US and the Communist Soviet Union, it was all for more power and influence in the international atmosphere.
