With this view organizations have four responsibilities.

2. Discus at least four major factors that influence consumer buying behavior.

Assignment Two

What are your views on the targeting of Products to children in today's world? Aside from your personal views, discuss the issue of targeting to children from two traditional perspectives:

1. First that of a brand manager who is responsible for the profitability of a child- oriented product, and,

2. Second from the view point of an ethicist.

Imagine what each of these parties might say about the practice of targeting products to children.

The Unit looks at the overview of Marketing, consumer needs and wants. The Product mix, Social Responsibility, Ethics, Consumer Behavior, Consumer Purchase decision process, Psychological influences, socio-cultural influences, Organizational buyer, Implementation – obtaining resources, Marketing communication, Marketing Communication process, Integrated Marketing Communication. All efforts will be made to visit the corporate world. 3. UNIT STRACTURE 1×4 hour seminar per week. The sessions will consist of lecture material, group discussions, case studies and experiential exercises. Students will be expected to undertake weekly reading and participate fully in the class activities. This module is designed as a course for one semester of 13 weeks duration.
