You are currently recruiting for a lab manager at a clinical testing facility; the lab collects patients' blood samples and detects health conditions such as anemia and nutritional deficiencies. Due to the high demand of testing, this particular testing facility operates in a 24/7 environment; based on the contracts signed with local hospitals, the lab must produce results within 72 hours. Working with the hiring manager, you have determined that the role would have the following duties:
-Maintains medical laboratory equipment performance by establishing quality standards
-Maintains medical laboratory productivity by monitoring workload of lab technicians; identifying peak and non-peak periods; making operational or staffing adjustments.
-Maintains lab technician results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
-Prepares physicians, nurses, patients, and students by teaching analytical theory, testing methodology, and the role of tested components in human physiology and medical practice
