Based on this story, Please answer the question in bold. Thanks!

In the story iceberg is melting a group of penguins when they discovered that their iceberg is indeed melting and understood that they are facing a disaster followed a well thought out practical process to counter the irressitable as they as a unit had to come out of the way of life followed for decades and had to change to survive . They followed 8 steps in the process :

1. Created an urgency about change

2. Carefully selected a group who were best to create the change

3. To set the changed vision and how that changed vision will be achieved

4. To make others to understand the vision and to accept it and buy in.

5. To empower others to put in their best efforts and remove all the obtacles which come on the way .

6. Celebrate every small and big win on the way

7. Do not get complacent after first few wins and instead press harder

8. Maintain the change by making it a part of the culture .

Here in the story the initiater who had spotted the inevitable was an unassuming penguin Fred . In Antartica a group of 268 penguins were living in a colony sheltered by a walls made of snow to protect them from winter storms . Now let us see how first 4 steps were followed :

1. Create an urgency about change

Fred created an urgency by thoughtfully approaching one of the leaders Alice who was most likely to listen to him . He showed her the actual status and what was coming . Alice approached the other leaders and in fact Fred was asked to make a presentation which he did with full sincerity by actually making a model of the iceberg . It was emphasised that time to react was now as in winters they would not be able to do anything . Once all the leaders were convinced and they had at least 3 penguins including Fred , Louis & Alice to narrate their experience and what they see as coming they called an assembly where every body among the pigeons were invited . Every body was shown the model , was narrated about the experiences and what they were convinced was staring at them . So an urgency was created.

2. Carefully selected a group who were best to create the change

They logical created a group of 5 penguins including Louis who was the head and respected by almost every body , Alice who was aggressive & who believed in making things happen , Buddy who was well trusted & well liked by every one , Fred who was amaizingly cusrious and creative and Me who was most logical of the lot . So they had a strong team to make the change happen.

3. To set the changed vision and how that changed vision will be achieved

Then led by Louis the team learned to behaive like a team by having lunch together and by discussing not on the job at hand so that they could gel together as a team and could focus on identifying the vision of success for the project . They decided that they will take every body's views about the solution or vision and finally they arrived at a vision . The vision was new way of life . And new way of life was no fixed home as do the seaguls do.

4. To make others to understand the vision and to accept it and buy in.

Now what was required was buy in of every body they achieved it by again going for assembly , through speech of the leader , story telling of buddy and posters for a week by Alice & her group.
