Photosynthesis is the main source to oxygen in the atmosphere, making it essential for life. Humans get the benefits of food, water and oxygen that photosynthesis generates. We as humans generate carbon dioxide which provides the necessary needs for the process of photosynthesis. Phytoplankton is an organism that performs photosynthesis and they are essential to the air. This organism uses chlorophyll to convert carbon dioxide, sunlight and water-based nutrients into oxygen. To put it into simple terms Photosynthesis needs and input of water, carbon dioxide and sunlight in order to create and output of glucose and oxygen. Cellular respiration has an input of glucose and oxygen, with the output of carbon dioxide, water and ATP. They both work in a continuous cycle that help produce each others needs.
