A 65-year-old mail carrier comes into the Emergency Department after his mail truck was flipped from a T-bone collision. He was a restrained driver and came in via ambulance after sustaining a head injury in the accident 30 minutes ago. He complains of a headache and has a 1-inch laceration on the forehead and a 2-inch laceration on the right scalp. His head is covered with a blood-stained bandage and he is in spinal precautions. He is responsive, but continues to complain about a headache.
