A plane on a mission to deliver food to hungry people is traveling parallel to the ground at a speed of 340.0 km/h. As the plane passes over point "X" on the ground a food parcel is released ( person holding it just lets go). At this time the plane is 190.0 m above the ground.

a) What is the magnitude of the velocity of the food package when it is released from the plane? Answer in m/s

b) How long does it take the food package to hit the ground? Answer in seconds

c) How far from point "X" does the food land (you may assume that the ground is completely horizontal with no hills)? Answer in metres

d) What is the magnitude of the velocity of the food just before it hits the ground? Answer in m/s
