A hatch (door) in the deck of a ship has a radius of 0.50 m. A sailor finds that he can lift the hatch with a force of 153 N applied in the middle of the door (0.50 m from the hinges, which are at the top of the hatch in the figure below). With what magnitude force could he open the hatch if he pulled at a point that is directly opposite to the hinges and 0.90 m away from them?
