Magnesium deficiency is a common problem in the United States. Magnesium salts (e.g. Magnesium chloride) are more bioavailable than are magnesium oxide or magnesium hydroxide, which are commonly found in vitamin supplements. A tablet containing magnesium chloride is weighed, ground, dissolved, and reacted with silver nitrate soluiton. The dried AgCl precipitate weighed 1.9293 g. The tablet weighed 0.9428 g. Calculate the weight percent of MgCl2 in the original tablet.
