1. Use the "Maggie's French Fry Study Case Data" file posted on Blackboard, please conduct the following analysis.
1) To test the hypothesis that "the average length of the fries in two locations are different", which statistical testing should be used? (Hint: T-testing, Z-testing, One-way ANOVA, Two-way ANOVA) Please explain why. (Don't need to conduct actual testing)
2) The store owner of location 1 says that he believes only 30% of the fries will be falling under the category of "non-conforming". Use the data to support/reject his claim. (aka. Conduct a hypothesis testing.)
3) Why would each fry have different length? Can the order size (Small, Medium, Large) be a factor that influences the length of the fries? That is, will certain length be more common in certain order size? Using the data from the location 1 to conduct a proper statistical testing to find out the answer.
