(1) Explain one of the theories of Love that we discussed in class, and give some examples to explain the theory.

(2) How is Love itself always intersectionally experienced? Why is it problematic to make universal claims about Love? Explain this in detail

(3) Experience of Love:

a.   Individual Writers: discuss the first time you were in love with another person. Write about one page, giving a detailed narrative, of the context and feelings of the experience. Then, use the theory that you explained above in (1) to analyze your experience of Love. What was the encounter? How did the declaration take place? How did you practice fidelity to the Event?

b. Groups: in your group, discuss your experiences of love and give a report of your group discussion. Then, use one of the theories above to analyze the common elements in each of your accounts.

(4) Intersectionality: how did your experiences of Love take place within a particular historical conjuncture, socially determined by class, race, sexuality, gender, age, nationality, culture place, etc.?
