Staff retention is vital for all organizations. High-performing organizations spend extra time identifying a diverse pool of job applicants; therefore, they will want to ensure that they can retain a diverse staff. After hiring the best talent, the main objective is to retain this high-performing, diverse talent, so there will not be a continuous effort each year to recruit new diverse staff.

One of the main tasks of an HR professional is to study the internal and external business environment and produce an active plan that meets its diverse staff recruitment goal.
