- Power Distance Index (PDI)
- Individualism vs. Collectivism (IDV)
- Masculinity vs. Femininity (MAS)
- Uncertainty Avoidance Index (UAI)
- Long term orientation vs. Short term normative orientation (LTO)
- Indulgence vs. Restraint (IVC)
The site also contains a Compare Countries tool (Links to an external site.) that allows visitors to identify the characteristics of the national cultures of individual countries.
- Analyze what you have learned about the United States in your studies and/or professional experience in terms of whether it is a CME or LME.
- Go to the Compare Countries (Links to an external site.) page and choose United States. With respect to the scores that are displayed for IDV, LTO, and IVC, explain how each of these results is reflected in your analysis of whether the United States is a CME or LME.
