Problem: Last night, Sally went to a party where she consumed cocaine with some friends. On her walk home, she came across a Maserati that had an open door and the keys in the ignition. Sally got behind the wheel and drove around for 15 minutes before abandoning the car. In that time, she traveled up to 60 mph along Lincoln Avenue in Santa Monica before stopping abruptly in the middle of the street. At one point, she noticed a police sobriety checkpoint and decided to make a 3-point turn in the busy intersection to avoid the checkpoint. List three potential crimes presented by the facts and their elements. Take one of these crimes and apply the elements to the facts; be sure to address the mens rea of your selected crime.
