Case: You are an HR director of a small Jamaican hotel chain catering to wealthy tourists. The Hotel is wholly Jamaican-owned. Despite the recent economic downturn, the business is still moderately successful. Your boss, the CEO, is keen to expand on this success. He spots an opportunity to buy a small hotel chain in Mexico. He says it is currently a great opportunity, as it is virtually being given away because of all the criminal activities and violence there! He has been advised by the Mexican owner that the hotels are located in sites away from all the troubles and that tourists, especially from the USA and Canada, are still visiting in relatively large numbers.

A team of 11 needs to be prepared to visit Mexico, conduct the due diligence, and report on the feasibility of the acquisition. This team will be there for approximately 12 weeks. They will leave in the next month.
