Question

Why should you only use Linear Phase EQ on just your master output and NOT on each individual track?

Because the latency of a Linear Phase EQ will change the timing of the audio too much (if used on multiple individual tracks). Because "Linear" implies that we flatten the stereo picture to mono, and it would destroy the stereo image of a mix. Because you have already EQ'ed your individual tracks, so why would you need to waste processing power on EQing your master output? Because Linear Phase EQs are old technology and sometimes not compatible with newer VSTs.
