The use of information technology has almost reached the pinnacle. All industries in the world are now depending on online services. Online privacy is now the biggest problem faced by US and has attracted high hostility (Mao, 2012). Even Facebook was charged for unfair and deceptive practices (Mao, Question 1 2 2012). United States is being victimized for criminal cyber-attacks creating a growing concern for the
American market growth and the ability to sustain business in a safe manner. The United States is facing great level of risk from China. This has in turn increased the risk in America and any issue related privacy (Sasso, 2013). The countries tension is covered by the "Consumer Privacy Bill of Rights" (The White House, 2012). The Consumer Privacy Bill of Rights will be an integral piece of innovation in the Ecommerce and Ebusiness and for the stimulation and growth of the economy.

The rules and regulation do not begin to deal with the important aspects of protecting the rights and privacy of the customer because of high pressure from the industry and the civil right groups. The U.S. and Turkey are one of the few countries which failed in establishment of the consumer data protection (CDT, n.d.).

US federal law covers only some limited economic sectors and selected types and usage of data.

Those data which are out of this range does not get even a minimal protection through the Section 5 of FTC (Federal Trade Commission) Act. The consumer privacy bill provides for more control and protection to all consumers over their personal information that is being used in the internet. The Commerce department is Responsible for convincing business, and advocating the important concerns facing the integrity of privacy, consumer trust while also implementing this law (The White House, 2012). Additionally, the media networks and other businesses aim to take action regarding "Do Not Track Technology". Accountability is very high in case of new policy because they can take appropriate measure in order to adhere to the consumer rights.

The discovery of both public and congress about the geo-location, tracking cookies and data breaches has increased the privacy concern (Brookman, 2011). The Consumer Privacy Bill of Rights will definitely bring in difference in the consumer privacy. Consumer Privacy Bill of Rights will be considered as one of the four important key elements which will take into account the process driven by the stakeholders. This right is applicable in the business contexts and emphasis about strong enforcement to be made by the FTC along with stronger interoperability with the international partners. The Commerce Department's Telecommunication and Information Administration will directly
convince the stakeholders like privacy, companies, consumer advocates, technical expert and academics for establishing specific policies, practices and code of conduct for implementing this policy (The White House, 2012).

This policy will enhance the security and will reduce the cybercrime because the policy implementation is from the company side which requires high technical expertise in handling this issue.

As the world is moving towards digitalization, more focus related to the privacy is growing which has to be addressed for strong growth without any interruption. While there are many differences in the policies of the Obama administration with regards to consumer privacy it is clear that there are great strides forward in a positive direction. It can be said that there are not enough bills or policies that take into consideration the extent of privacy needed in this technological age. However, it is clear through multiple sources that the new acts were established to try and protect customers and big businesses.

There are significant threats in the world that seek to destroy not only the lives of U.S citizens, but the companies in the U.S. The more strict and regulated policies of how companies use data and what the customer has access to view is extremely important when trying to mitigate risks to the economy.

Without the new structuring of the Consumer's privacy Bill of Rights it is clear that there would be serious ramifications on our economy, some of which might have been detrimental to the survival of the nation. Though there are stricter regulations there is more that needs to be done each day to prevent the spread of personal information of the U.S. Citizens to protect not only the citizens but the
countries economy.
