Question: For your first lifespan analysis project, you should consider any aspect of human sexuality and gender that might impact the life of a child. Then, adopt the lens of teaching about that topic in a way that is appropriate for children. This assignment is an opportunity to be creative and have fun. It can be as simple or complex as you want to make it. The purpose is to shift your mindset from just learning information into actual practical mechanisms for applying this information in the future. Don't let the thought of it overwhelm you-- you can keep it simple and still do well, as long as you meet the criteria in the rubric. The topic is (Teaching children about gender). In terms of format, the main goal is a format that is appropriate and useful for children today. This is a pretty open opportunity, but if you need extra ideas, possible formats might include: Children's story book Song Poem Class Activity

1- Age appropriate topic selection and approach (eg using age appropriate terminology, presenting age appropriate information, etc.).

2- Points - Age appropriate mechanism of delivery (eg using something that age would learn from, providing engaging materials for that age group, etc.).

3- Information is accurate, stigma-free, and shame-free.

4- Creativity, uniqueness, neatness, attention to detail, etc. (e.g. typo-free, care in choosing graphics / images, images showcase diversity, lyrics or words flow together well, video is filmed in a well-lit area, free from distractions, etc.)
