Consider the following statement: "For some molecules and ions, a Lewis structure that satisfies the octet rule does not lead to the lowest formal charges, and a Lewis structure that leads to the lowest formal charges does not satisfy the octet rule." Illustrate this statement using the hydrogen sulfite ion, HSO₃^-, as an example (the H atom is bonded to one of the O atoms).

Draw all possible Lewis structures for HSO₃^-.

Draw the molecule by placing atoms on the grid and connecting them with bonds. Include all lone pairs of electrons. Show the formal charges of all nonhydrogen atoms in the correct structure.
