You are the manager of a close-knit team of employees who have worked together for two years. One of the team members, who is a close colleague will be laid off. Their position has been designated redundant and as the last person hired, they will be laid off immediately. As the manager responsible for that employee/position, you were part of the decision-making committee. You must break the bad news to your colleague.
