1. Why is it necessary for senior management to step in rather than let the chiefs of the directorates handle the conflicts? It is necessary for the senior manager to step in because it is the senior manager responsibility to resolve conflict, organize structure, and prioritize. The senior manager is also supposed to staff and monitor.
